Prayer Line

Bro. Jones,
We kicked off the prayer line last Saturday the 11th. Bro. Clint Knowles started the prayer line with the opening prayer. Bro. Sylvester Smith, Bro. Taylor and Sister Judy Lyles prayed for our national and international leader ships, state leaderships and for a spiritual revival for our churches globally. They also prayed for our nation and its leaders, especially prayed for God fearing men and women to come to the leadership of our nation. Afterwards Bro. Pruitt spoke the word. He spoke the word based upon James 5: 16 -18. “Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months. And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit”. The words were very powerful. The presence of God was so intense and I felt it in my room. Though Elijah was a man our caliber, God honored him because he was a prayerful man.
We will be doing this every Saturday from 9:00 AM to 10: AM. Please tell all the pastors to announce in their church about this prayer line so that it will be beneficial to all the members and ministers of our church.

Partner with us to help save a life!

The research is staggering. Prisoners, drug users, dropouts, runaways, and rapists all share something in common. The overwhelming majority of them come from homes without a father. Fatherless homes produce more than half of all youth suicides, as well as the majority of kids with behavior disorders. Kids are twenty times more likely to end up in prison if their dad is not involved in their lives. - The Resolution for Men

The reality is, we cannot provide all hurting children in our society with an earthly father. However, we can give them the ultimate father, God Almighty! The whole vision for outreach camp is to bring the lonely, unloved and hurting children together and show them the unconditional love of God!

State leadership is asking for all churches to unite together and receive a love offering on Sunday Morning, Mach 25, 2012 to sponsor children for Outreach camp. We are believing God for enough funds to sponsor 150 kids from the ages 8-12! If every family sponsored one child each, at only $110 we could exceed our goal quickly!

Please join us in prayer for outreach camp 2012! We are expecting a supernatural move of God that breaks every generational curse. He's big enough and more than enough!

ANOTHER RE-CHECK TODAY AT CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL IN B’HAM. NO REFLUX IN EITHER KIDNEY, HASN’T HAD A UTI IN ALMOST A YEAR. WE PRAISE THE LORD FOR THAT HEALING. THE LORD ALREADY HEALED HER OF ACID REFLUX WHEN SHE WAS MUCH SMALLER. AND SHE HAS NOT HAD A NIGHT TERROR OR BAD DREAM AND WOKE UP SCREAMING SINCE WE ANOINTED AND PRAYED FOR THAT THE OTHER WEEK. Joys of Muslim Women

In the Muslim faith a Muslim man can marry a child as young as 1 year old and have sexual intimacy with this child, consummating the marriage by 9. The dowry is given to the family in exchange for the woman (who becomes his slave) and for the purchase of the private parts of the woman, to use her as a toy.

Even though a woman is abused, she can not obtain a divorce.

To prove rape, the woman must have (4) male witnesses.

Often after a woman has been raped, she is returned to her family and the family must return the dowry. The family has the right to execute her (an honor killing) to restore the honor of the family. Husbands can beat their wives 'at will' and the man does not have to say why he has beaten her.

The husband is permitted to have 4 wives and a temporary wife for an hour (prostitute) at his discretion.

The Shariah Muslim law controls the private as well as the public life of the woman.

In the Western World ( America ) Muslim men are starting to demand Shariah Law so the wife can not obtain a divorce and he can have full and complete control of her. It is amazing and alarming how many of our sisters and daughters attending American Universities are now marrying Muslim men and submitting themselves and their children unsuspectingly to the Shariah law.

By passing this on, enlightened American women may avoid becoming a slave under Shariah Law. Ripping the West in Two. Author and lecturer Nonie Darwish says the goal of radical Islamists is to impose Shariah law on the world, ripping Western law and liberty in two.

She recently authored the book, Cruel and Usual Punishment: The Terrifying Global Implications of Islamic Law.

Darwish was born in Cairo and spent her childhood in Egypt and Gaza before immigrating to America in 1978, when she was eight years old. Her father died while leading covert attacks on Israel . He was a high-ranking Egyptian military officer stationed with his family in Gaza .

When he died, he was considered a "shahid," a martyr for jihad. His posthumous status earned Nonie and her family an elevated position in Muslim society.

But Darwish developed a skeptical eye at an early age. She questioned her own Muslim culture and upbringing. She converted to Christianity after hearing a Christian preacher on television.

In her latest book, Darwish warns about creeping sharia law - what it is, what it means, and how it is manifested in Islamic countries.

For the West, she says radical Islamists are working to impose sharia on the world. If that happens, Western civilization will be destroyed. Westerners generally assume all religions encourage a respect for the dignity of each individual. Islamic law (Sharia) teaches that non-Muslims should be subjugated or killed in this world.

Peace and prosperity for one's children is not as important as assuring that Islamic law rules everywhere in the Middle East and eventually in the world.

While Westerners tend to think that all religions encourage some form of the golden rule, Sharia teaches two systems of ethics - one for Muslims and another for non-Muslims. Building on tribal practices of the seventh century, Sharia encourages the side of humanity that wants to take from and subjugate others.

While Westerners tend to think in terms of religious people developing a personal understanding of and relationship with God, Sharia advocates executing people who ask difficult questions that could be interpreted as criticism.

It's hard to imagine, that in this day and age, Islamic scholars agree that those who criticize Islam or choose to stop being Muslim should be executed. Sadly, while talk of an Islamic reformation is common and even assumed by many in the West, such murmurings in the Middle East are silenced through intimidation.

While Westerners are accustomed to an increase in religious tolerance over time, Darwish explains how petro dollars are being used to grow an extremely intolerant form of political Islam in her native Egypt and elsewhere.

In twenty years there will be enough Muslim voters in the U.S. to elect the President by themselves! Rest assured they will do so... You can look at how they have taken over several towns in the USA .. Dearborn Mich. is one... and there are others..

I think everyone in the U.S. should be required to read this, but with the ACLU, there is no way this will be widely publicized, unless each of us sends it on!

It is too bad that so many are disillusioned with life and Christianity to accept Muslims as peaceful.. some may be but they have an army that is willing to shed blood in the name of Islam.. the peaceful support the warriors with their finances and own kind of patriotism to their religion. WHILE AMERICAN IS GETTING RID OF CHRISTIANITY FROM ALL PUBLIC SITES AND ERASING GOD FROM THE LIVES OF CHILDREN THE MUSLIMS ARE PLANNING A GREAT JIHAD ON AMERICA . . . . . .

We are excited about the upcoming district "revival" service that will be in your area in just 5 days. This event is for the Midwest Area of Alabama and is called P.R.O.V.O.K.E. This night of revival will take place Sunday Night, April 11th, 2010 at the Woodland Hills COGOP. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Service will begin at 6:00 p.m. During this night, you will experience intimate worship with life changing sermons, reinforced by dramas and media clips. We want to stress to you that this is not a youth event. This tour is completely different from the Hydrate tour and was designed for the entire church. God is so awesome and His Spirit is working among us! Today's Church Service was wonderful. God has placed the right people in the right places and amazing things are happening! There is unity, anointing, people are being connected and their gifts are shinning! All of these things are making the Gordo church a great church to be apart of!

Hats off to the Gordo Choir. Your singing this morning was anointed and refreshing! Thanks to Linda Cameron and the Choir members for allowing God to use you! Also, we are praising the Lord for those who came forward for special prayer!

Our church is taking time to pray for the people of Hattie. So many people in Hattie need the Lord, but at the same time many wonderful people who loved the Lord have been taken home. Lets keep praying!

Sunday evening our choir practiced and will be ready for worship this coming Sunday. We are asking God to anoint them in a mighty way!

Bishop Flavio Rosario and Pastor Quiterio Rosario were able to make their way into Port-au-Prince on Saturday and met with Bishop Dorlean, overseer of Haiti, and some of our Haitian brothers. The long journey into the Haitian capital was slowed by traffic, clogging the roads as others sought to deliver aid. At many points the roadways were made impassable by debris so although delayed, the Dominican team arrived safely. They delivered enough food and water to the children at the orphanage to last about a week. Bishop Dorlean was overwhelmed by the support and could not find words to express his gratitude for this act of Christian solidarity. Bishop Benjamin Feliz, Director of Finance and Publications, was able to speak with Brother Dorlean and encourage him of the global church's full support for Haiti in this hour of crisis. The office of the General Presbyter of Central America, Mexico and the Hispanic Caribbean, along with the leadership of Panama and the Dominican Republic is providing tremendous assistance in the relief efforts. Bishop Quiterio Rosario, district overseer of the La Romana district in the Dominican Republic, is coordinating a truck shipment of water, food, sheets, blankets, some tents and other supplies within the next 48 hours. Plans are being made for additional shipments of supplies from the Dominican Republic National Office. The General Presbyter of the Caribbean, Bishop Brice Thompson, is working with his leadership to provide relief and assistance to our Haitian brothers and sisters. Given the difficulties with getting supplies into Haiti by air or sea, the land route from the Dominican is the most feasible, despite the challenges with security on the ground. Cash donations will be used to purchase supplies in the Dominican Republic to take in relief by road.

Individuals may contribute through our Helping Hand Ministry and local churches through Harvest Partners [Level Two] Ministry. Please designate your financial contribution for
